Bio

Jennifer decided at a young age to pursue a career in law, telling friends and family members since she was a teenager that she wanted to be a divorce attorney. After earning her degree in Criminology and Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, she graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, where she worked as a research assistant for the Dean of the college.

Jennifer’s best clients are young families for both family law matters and estate planning. She likes working with moms or dads that are very involved with their kids and their biggest concern is making sure they won’t lose that relationship. She also enjoys helping her clients structure a favorable financial outcome.

Jennifer enjoys working with couples who want to be sure to preserve the relationship between the two of them for the future, which aligns well with collaborative law. Jennifer brings energy and compassion to her work, assisting clients with their personal matters involving family law.

Jennifer is a trained member of the Collaborative Law Institute, helping clients divorce with dignity and respect. When the collaborative process is not the right fit for clients, she provides advocacy through a court-based process. Jennifer listens to her clients to provide an individualized approach that best fits each client’s goals and addresses their concerns.

Jennifer has her office located in Maple Grove, the same community where she grew up. Many of her clients find the suburban location to be more convenient than going downtown Minneapolis. Outside the office, Jennifer can be found baking cupcakes and desserts to share with friends and family, or trying her skills on a boxing bag in an attempt to balance out those desserts. Jennifer lives in Plymouth with her husband and their rescue cat.
