The difficult feelings and questions that arise when a relationship disintegrates can be daunting. If you have children your concerns are multiplied.
With 30 years of experience as a therapist, coach and educator, I am committed to helping individuals and couples in all stages of relationship. I am committed to helping you go through the difficult transition of separation, divorce, and rebuilding your lives. I serve a variety of roles in the Divorce and Collaborative communities.
My role as a Neutral Coach in Collaborative Divorce is to help guide you and your team of specialists so you can make the best decisions possible for you and your family.
In my role as a coach I can help you access information - about the emotional, legal, financial, and custodial issues you are facing - so you can make the best choices possible -- how to proceed, who to work with as a specialist, clarifying your goals -- as you proceed through separation, divorce, and building a new future for you and your children.
I also offer coaching to individuals who are overly emotional or reactive in meetings with their soon-to-be-ex. I help them learn to manage their emotions so they can strategically work toward their desired outcomes.
As a therapist I offer a variety of services: Reconciliation therapy is for those who are unsure about proceeding with a divorce and want to try again. Those facing divorce often request 3-5 sessions of Divorce Counseling to work through their issues so they can finalize their agreements. Therapy is also offered for those transitioning and rebuilding their lives, along with consultation on how to parent as a single family household or how to deal with the considerations of blending families, or mitigating unconstructive behaviors of the other parent as you move into new relationship.
