Theresa F. Jacobson, CFP (Financial Professional)
|
I was drawn to the Collaborative model because of the emphasis placed on family and creative solutions. As a financial professional, I have seen first hand what divorce can do to families and how the adversarial system can magnify the negative aspects of divorce. As a financial neutral within the collaborative system it is satisfying to be a part of a model which nudges all participants to rise to a higher level and in doing so allows them to maintain dignity in the face of a difficult situation.

| General Comments |
| As a Financial Neutral, I work with clients to help evaluate the short-term and long-term financial impact of any proposed divorce settlement. It is critical that clients have a clear understanding of the financial decisions made during the divorce process. |
